Energy Performance Certificates

We carry out detailed and comprehensive energy assessments for all commercial and residential dwellings, producing Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) with the aim to lower the impact on the environment through Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emissions, with the average EPC rating for properties in the UK is band D. In addition to energy efficiency ratings, the EPC also provides recommendations on ways to improve a property’s energy efficiency to help save costs and reduce environmental impact. 

We produce EPC's and condition survey reports in addition to recommendations on how to  improve the energy efficiency of the dwelling. It is also a way for the client to deal with other problems like damp, mould and condensation and other measures such as insulation, heating system, improving ventilation and indoor air quality, installing renewable technologies. This in turn will reduce energy bills and reduce co2 emissions. 

The Standard Energy Procedure, methodology Our assessments comply  with the energy and carbon requirements defined by current building regulations. They are designed to measure the energy and environmental performance of a dwelling and the calculations  are used to form the energy performance certificate. 

Air Tightness Testing survey, this method is used to measure the extent of which air is lost through the leaks in the building’s fabric. The survey will check for ‘air leakages and identify what is failing to maintain air tightness which can result in 40% of heat being lost.  

Our MEES reports are designed to improve the energy efficiency of the built environment in which the government has identified is a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions and a major threat to the UK meeting its net zero targets. The assessment will identify what type of energy saving measures are practical and will take into account what the EPC rating for your building would be if the fabric of the building are improved by carrying out a variety of different measures. 

We produce comprehensive and detailed inventory schedule condition reports, as well as tenant check-in and check-out services, assisting landlords and lettings agents with their rental portfolio's. Our reports are impartial and unbiased and in line and with the 2007 legislation for the protection of landlords & tenants against disputes over deposits. We use the latest innovative technology and software products to produce precise reports tailored to our individual clients needs.

A service that is specific to mid-term and periodic inspections or selective licensing.

Here we will visit the property part way through the tenancy to check the state of the property and to assess if there is any maintenance issues to be addressed or areas of concern for example: over occupancy, or misuse of the property.
